Dryades è la branca italiana del Progetto Europeo KeyToNature, coordinato dall'Università di Trieste e finanziato dalla Commissione Europea nell'ambito del Programma eContentplus. Il Progetto - di durata triennale a partire dal 3 settembre 2007 - include 14 partner da 11 paesi europei, ed è centrato sullo sviluppo di strumenti innovativi per l'identificazione degli organismi e sulla loro introduzione nel mondo della scuola, dalle elementari all'università. Il sito web di Dryades permette l'accesso a guide interattive per l'identificazione di piante funghi ed animali, ad archivi iconografici e a diverse banche dati sulla biodiversità dell'Italia. Una sezione specifica è dedicata ai progetti per le scuole.

Dryades is the Italian branch of the European Project KeyToNature, co-ordinated by the University of Trieste and approved by the EU in the framework of the eContentplus Programme. The project has a duration of 3 years starting from september 3rd, 2007, and includes 14 partners from 11 European countries. It is centered on the development of innovative tools for the identification of organisms, and on their introduction in the world of education, from primary schools to universities. The website of Dryades gives access to interactive guides for the identification of plants, fungi and animals, to image archives, and to databases on the biodiversity of Italy. A special section is dedicated to products specifically designed for schools.
